Chart notes
SMOOCHING away well, pressed the pace three wide into the turn, then pulled even passing the three furlong marker, battled gamely into the stretch, finished well, gained a short lead in deep stretch and was all out to hold on at the wire. MOVINGLIKEAWINNER was outrun in the early stages and was pretty far back early, saved ground through the turn and was kept to task under steady handling, was gaining rapidly as the leaders were backing up and was able to pass all but the winner in the end. TEXAS WENDY tracked behind the pacesetting trio, came under a drive from the five-sixteenths, pole, was kept to task late and was gaining ground in the late stages. HARNEY LANE hustled to the lead from the break, vied inside of a trio contesting the early pace, dug in gamely under left handed urging in the stretch but was outkicked in the final yards. PINK ACE contested the early pace from behind horses from the start to deep stretch then weakened in the final furlong. FOREST ACCLAMATION broke very poorly, rushed to regain contact with the field, passed a few stragglers on the turn then finished evenly in the drive. HOODWINKED KATE allowed to settle, dropped far behind early then was unable to improve late. THERE WAS A STEWARDS INQUIRY INTO THE START. AFTER A REVIEW, NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
