Chart notes
MCMONEY tracked mid-pack, launched a bid from the seven-sixteenths pole, chased CHAOS REIGNS down the stretch then finally reeled in that foe in the final yards to claim the victory. CHAOS REIGNS coaxed from the break and easily made the lead, went clear early under a stout hold, was let loose past the halfway point then quickened when cued through the far turn, had a clear lead in the stretch, got a bit short in the final furlong and surrendered the lead in the final yards. CONTRABANDISTA settled behind the lone pacesetter, could not go on with MCMONEY on the turn but kept on while saving ground and held third. CODE RUNNER raced at the rear of the field early, advanced closer into the far turn, kept on, outlasted the rest of the field. NILES CHANNEL raced close up inside but was one-paced and unable to threaten late. JET FLIGHT broke outward at the start, then went three wide through the first turn, was mid-pack to the half, went into a drive into the turn and chugged along in the late stages unable to improve. STRONGER TOGETHER settled behind the rest through the early running, advanced four wide down the backstretch, bid four wide into the stretch then struggled to maintain any pace.
