Chart notes
CINCO STEVE broke alertly, ceded the early lead to HE'S A ROCK then pressed inside of that rival heading to the turn, stalked the pace from the inside along the bend then re-bid into upper stretch, dueled inside of HE'S A ROCK to the final sixteenth, took a narrow lead in deep stretch and held well late for the win. HE'S A ROCK sent to assume early command, took a narrow lead along the backstretch then set the pace into the turn while outside of CINCO STEVE, showed the way to the quarter marker while between rivals, met the bid of CINCO STEVE into upper stretch then dueled to the final sixteenth, was bested in deep stretch and was clear of the rest for second. HE'S ALL EARS tracked the early pace from outside of runners, gained ground into the turn then chased three wide nearing the quarter pole, battled into upper stretch, fought on past the furlong grounds then was outkicked in the final sixteenth, while holding clearly for third. MEGA SHACK tracked the early pace from the inside, saved ground into the turn then angled three wide at the quarter marker, chased four wide into the stretch then could not muster a late rally. KICK IT AGAIN BOB settled off of the early pace while never far back, trailed into the turn and chased three to four wide nearing the quarter marker, shifted in into upper stretch then lacked a late response. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time available.
