Chart notes
YELLOW SUN DRESS stalked the leaders to the turn outside a rival, got brushed by PRIME AND READY in between the five-sixteenths and quarter pole, angled out and rallied five deep into the final sixteenth and dug in for the win approaching the wire. SPECIAL FLOWER vied three deep up the backstretch, dueled two wide through the turn, inched ahead in upper stretch, resisted into the final strides but could not fend off the winner. HEADED FOR OM bumped leaving the gate, stalked the speedsters from the fence, got shuffled back at the seven-sixteenths pole, hugged the rail to the stretch, rallied from the fence and got put in a bit tight having to pause at the eight pole but was able to get through, then finished well and missed second. PRIME AND READY bumped with inner rival at the start, vied for the lead inside a pair of rivals, came under urging when failed to keep up with the outer pair leaving the backstretch, brushed outer rival past the five-sixteenths pole, took aim two wide into the lane, tipped out in upper stretch, rallied between in deep stretch and got outkicked. PRINCESS MIDNIGHT sat off the pace on the inside, traveled two wide late on the bend, angled out into the lane and upper stretch, finished well but ran out of ground. CORPORAL VIOLETTE (IRE) vied between rivals in the early going, dueled along the rail around the bend, fought to midstretch and weakened in the final sixteenth. THIRSTY DESTINY raced in range to the turn, lost ground two then three wide around the bend, tipped out into the lane and weakened. MS MCWHINNEY unhurried in the beginning, trailed along the inside then two wide on the turn and was never a factor.
