Chart notes
HARTFUL HOPE stalked the early pace, began to close ground three wide through the turn, drifted out to the seven path entering the stretch, altered course inside the leader to the five path before the furlong marker, rallied under right handed urging and was along in time. AUSTRIAN NAVY chased the pace two wide down the backstretch, rallied two wide to make the lead midway on the turn, quickly opened a clear lead, drifted to the eight path in upper stretch, set the balance of the pace then couldn't handle the winner in the final stages. HONEY BELLA allowed to settle, swung wide and closed a gap late in the middle of the racetrack. CANDYMONIUM passed tiring rivals. SHEISTHEHERO was no factor. SHARP AZ CAN BE broke sharply, set a rapid pace along the inside until the middle of the turn then tired. GRACIE DANCE was no factor.
