Chart notes
BEAUTIFUL MANDATE unhurried early, closed willingly three wide in the four path through the far turn, made the lead at the top of the stretch then finished full of run to win as much the best under strong handling. OCHO'S SECRET saved ground through the far turn, had a mild late rally two wide and got up for second. SAND WEDGE chased the pace into the far turn, offered a mild bid nearing the quarter pole, checked inside the winner before the furlong marker, shifted out to the seven path then was outfinished for second. THEHILLONWOODSIDE sprinted to a daylight lead soon after the start, set the pace for six furlongs then weakened. WIZ THE BOMB failed to menace. DAME MAUDE CHARDIN was no factor. POOTOOGOOK was outrun. DEE'S KY WILDCAT had no impact. ZIPPY ZINNY was through after a half, stopped and jogged to the wire. THE STEWARDS POSTED THE INQUIRY SIGN AND THE RIDER OF SAND WEDGE LODGED A CLAIM OF FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF THE WINNER FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENCE IN UPPER STRETCH. AFTER REVIEW THE STEWARDS UPHELD THE ORIGINAL ORDER OF FINISH.
