Chart notes
CALENDULA sprinted to a daylight lead soon after the start, set all the pace, turned back a strong bid from the runner up in upper stretch and proved best under brisk handling. ARMY KITTEN unhurried, loomed boldly in the six path in upper stretch and was denied by the winner. PEARLINTHEROUGH went evenly. HALCYON DAYS was never close. BATTLE TESTED chased the winner into the far turn, got out near the furlong marker, stopped and was eased to the wire.
