Chart notes
MR. WHO shifted in late up the backstretch racing three wide into the turn and off but within range of the leader, fanned eight wide into upper stretch, drove past late. COASTAL JAZZ was quick to lead, set the pace from outside, moved clear drifting five wide into upper stretch, was outkicked but second best. DEPARTURE settled off the pace, was racing five wide into the turn, fanned nine wide out of that bend then was immediately guided inward through upper stretch, rallied between then inside foes to secure show honors. DIAMOND RIM settled mid-pack racing mostly two to three wide, went evenly. PLANE TALK stumbled at the start then moved forward inside to press the eventual winner, lost ground on that one and angled out seven wide coming to the top of the stretch, needed more. TRUTH SEEKER lacked early speed, fanned ten deep turning for home, improved position. ARMA D'ORO raced four to five wide throughout and failed to menace. COASTAL KID was near mid-pack, saved ground on the turn, failed to rally. LITE RANCHIN KID chased four wide into the turn, was asked for more midway on that bend, faded in the stretch.
