Chart notes
EKATI KING raced off the pace on the inside up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the three path, launched a bid entering the stretch and kicked clear. FEDERAL EXCHANGE raced off the pace on the outside early, navigated the bend from the three path, began a bid passing the quarter pole and gained ground late. LACE UP chased the leader on the outside through the opening stages, dueled from the two path around the bend, kicked clear in upper stretch and was caught in the final sixteenth. PAPA KATZ raced at the back of the pack on the inside through the early going, navigated the turn from the two path and was never a threat. OTTO pressed the pace between horses up the backstretch, dueled while saving ground around the bend and faded in the lane. BLUE SPEARMAN led the way on the inside up the backstretch, began to drop back while saving ground around the turn and continued to tire from there.
