Chart notes
HERECOMESDAPEACH led the way up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn, kicked clear entering the stretch and held off a closer to the wire. PRINCE DAVID raced in the middle of the pack on the outside early, continued around the turn in the four path, began a bid passing the quarter pole and gained ground steadily late. PAEZ chased the leader up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the two path and kept on to the finish. MAX N FIFO was pinched back leaving the gate, settled off the pace for the run up the backstretch, came around the bend in the four path and improved position from there. SHOW BOAT raced in the middle of the pack between horses through the opening quarter, continued around the turn in the three path and made no bid. GEORGEISIMPORTANT raced in the middle of the pack ok the inside up the backstretch, saved ground around the turn and faded in the lane. LAO WAY trailed the field throughout, raced in the two path around the bend and was never a factor.
