Chart notes
RUNAWAY CHARLIE stalked off the inside, moved up and bid three deep near the three eighths, shifted in some and met an outer bid from ETERNALLY GRATEFUL in upper stretch, dueled inside that one through the final furlong, kept on tenaciously under left handed ask in deep stretch, wandered outward and prevailed. ETERNALLY GRATEFUL was squeezed back soon after the break, regrouped and was taken to rate towards the inside, moved up between foes leaving the half then steadied briefly when in close around the far turn, shifted out and gained three to four wide nearing the stretch, drew alongside the winner past the three sixteenths, battled gamely but just could not get past. BREAKOUT STAR settled off the pace, angled out advancing near the five sixteenths, came four wide for the drive, chased the leaders in mid stretch then faded. HANDSOFFTHEGOODS , off the pace, came four wide for the drive and failed to drum up a rally. INDY CHARGES ON saved ground, edged up inside foes nearing the half, was urged chasing soon after, angled out and gave way in the drive. BOONE'S PATH stalked the pace three wide and outside foes nearing the half, bid between runners leaving the far turn, pressed, failed to go on in upper stretch and weakened. WESTEROS sped clear early, set the pace towards the inside, was engaged by outer foes around the far turn, stayed on for a bit then faltered. SHARP STICK had his rider lose the irons entering the first turn, traveled outside foes while his rider was unable to recover, dropped back around the final turn then was gathered up by the outrider nearing the finish.
