Chart notes
LORD CREW tracked the early pace two wide and between runners, bid three wide into the stretch, took command into the final furlong then drew away late. I LOVE THE SONG a step slow away from the start, tracked the early pace from the inside then got caught a bit in tight into the turn, maintained a rail trip to the stretch, could not impact the winner into the late stages and was second best. GOLDSTRUCK sent, set pace to quarter marker, yielded in the stretch and held for the show. SWEET DEVOTION tracked the early pace two wide and between runners, lost ground at the quarter marker, angled widest into upper stretch, could not find the needed late response and was outfinished for third. ARCH OF SWORDS unhurried in the early stages, trailed into the turn then passed tiring rivals to improve position in the stretch. PEA EYE hard to load prior to the start, squeezed back at the start and away a bit slowly, tracked three wide and between runners into the turn, chased four wide into the stretch then gave way. FRONT ROW SHOW tracked the early pace while widest up the backstretch, chased four to five wide nearing the quarter marker, lacked a response into the stretch then tired in the final furlong. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
