Chart notes
CLAY'S BLACK OPAL stalked the early pace two wide, bid between runners into upper stretch, dueled BAJA BOOGIE to the final sixteenth and determinedly prevailed. BAJA BOOGIE stumbled start, recovered and was well placed while three wide nearing the turn, vied for the lead into upper stretch then dueled gamely to the final sixteenth, just missed for the win at the wire and was a clear second. MAGIC CASTLE assumed early command and set the pace to the turn, met outside bidders into upper stretch, yielded to the top pair into the final sixteenth and was clear in the end for third. TIGER DAD tracked the early pace from between runners, lost ground along the turn, swung three to four wide for the stretch drive and lacked a late response. DRILL'S LI'L MAN tracked the early pace from the inside, lost ground into the turn then gave way in the lane. NOISE COMPLAINT took back off of the early pace, was guided two wide along the turn and did not factor in the late stages. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
