Chart notes
CHAOS REIGNS pressed NULLARBOR through the early stages, always traveling well, amped up the pressure on the far turn then took command in upper stretch, went clear and held safe to the finish. NULLARBOR sent from the break intent on getting the lead, made the front end and tried to slow down the pace with CHAOS REIGNS a constant shadow to the outside, quickened with that rival on the turn then could not match strides in upper stretch, battled DOUBLE THUNDER for the runner up spot and pulled clear of that one in the final yards. DOUBLE THUNDER tracked behind the speed through the first half, never far back, moved out to the three path for the backstretch run, launched a bid from the three furlong pole, came three wide into the stretch but could not muster the needed response and was outfinished for the place. MCMONEY raced between horses at the back but not far off the pace, got a little closer on the far turn then came under pressure late on that turn and could not provide the needed response. GLOBAL EMPIRE settled inside on the rail through the early stages, advanced on the backstretch run then was put to urging while still racing on the rail through the far turn then lacked a late bid. LINE TO GAIN went three wide up close to the pace on the clubhouse turn then settled mid-pack, tried to launch a bid with three furlongs to run but tired in the stretch. EUCLID AVENUE settled in the second flight through the early running, was in last late on the backstretch racing four wide then unable to muster up much of anything in the lane.
