I WIN LIKA GIRL assumed early command, set the pace into the backstretch, came under pressure nearing the second turn, was overtaken by BOSTON PRINCESS and chased that rival to the stretch, came again in the lane, drew clear into the late stages then held safely over the oncoming runner-up. INDIAN EXCELLENCE settled off of the early pace, saved ground to the second turn, angled three wide for the stretch drive, closed willingly late, could not reel in the winner in deep stretch and bested the rest. JULIA'S PROMISE allowed to settle, made a steady advance up the backstretch, bid three to four wide into the lane, was outkicked in the late stages and got up in time to secure the show. BOSTON PRINCESS tracked the early pace three wide, bid into the second turn then held a clear lead nearing the top of the stretch, was overtaken into the lane and yielded in the final stages. ALLERGIC TO LOGIC hustled to be prominent early on, chased the pace up the backstretch, could not keep pace into the second turn and weakened. LOOKATHERGLIDE forwardly placed away from the start, took back and saved ground into the backstretch, shifted out and chased two wide to the second turn then could not muster a final response. MISS GRAND SLAM settled while saving ground early on, trailed to the second turn and was not a late factor. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate final time available.
