Chart notes
POP'S PARTY showed good early speed, disputed the pace between runners heading to the turn, dueled outside of SPLISH SPLASH along the bend then battled that rival into the stretch, determinedly poked a head in front in deep stretch and edged away late to prevail. SPLISH SPLASH disputed the pace to the turn then took command along the bend, dueled POP'S PARTY to the top of the lane, fought inside of that runner to deep stretch and was bested in the final strides for the win, while clear of the rest for second. MYSTERIOUS MOVES allowed to settle while never far back, saved ground into the turn, bid two wide into upper stretch, rallied in the late stages and held at the wire for third. CADEN'S GIRL rated off of the early pace, tracked three wide along the turn, bid five wide into the stretch, closed willingly in the lane and just missed for third. POW WOW a step slow leaving the start, allowed to settle and saved ground into the turn, swung three to four wide for the stretch drive, was gaining in the late stages but could not reel in the leaders at the finish. CELEBRITY GIRL forwardly placed early on while outside of runners, chased three wide into the turn, was outkicked into upper stretch then weakened late. MARKED BY MISCHIEF forwardly placed in the early going, tracked the pace while saving ground into the turn, chased from the rail into upper stretch, could not find a late response and gave way. ZAPPIN lost her path at the start and took up soon after leaving the gate, trailed into the turn and did not make a late impact. BOLDLY BELIEVE stumbled sharply at the start and nearly unseated the rider, tracked the pace to the turn, bore out along the bend then was eased through the stretch and walked off under her own power. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate final time available.
