GIANT TUDE settled inside just behind the leaders early, went into a drive from the three furlong marker, pulled even with BROKE DRAW before the quarter pole then dueled that foe the length of the stretch and was drifting out under urging late but got a head in front in the final yards. PASILA broke outward making light contact with BROKE DRAW, took up sharply approaching the six furlong pole when GIANT TUDE came over and too the path, dropped to last then gradually advanced to into striking distance by the far turn, started to run on and and split horses passing the quarter pole and put in a good finish three wide to gain the place. BROKE DRAW was being asked from the break and made the lead on the first turn, joined by COSTA LADY to the inside and dueled that one to the far turn, got the best of that one early on the far turn then got a new challenge from GIANT TUDE nearing the quarter pole, battled gamely inside of that one through the lane and came up short. OAK HILL SENIORITA was coaxed to get forward position from the outside draw, raced close up three wide through the clubhouse turn then tracked a couple of lengths behind the pace from between horses down the backstretch, started a bid from near the five-sixteenths pole but quickly stalled out and had little to offer in the stretch while lugging in under left handed urging. COSTA LADY was in tight and steadied going into the first turn, dueled on the front end from inside to the far turn then struggled to keep up, was kept to task but was not a factor in the late stages. COAL DANCER was allowed to settle from the break and was last into the first turn, steadily advanced under mild coaxing down the backstretch, went three then two wide through the far turn and lacked a rally. C C LLAM went three wide through the first turn, tracked in mid-pack and was done after a half mile was run. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
