Chart notes
MISS EMILY devoid of early speed, started to run on going into the turn, carried the momentum six wide into the stretch and was along in plenty of time. CLEARLY GORGEOUS broke well but unable to contest the early pace, settled widest of the tracking group then launched four wide bid with three furlongs to run, took the lead into upper stretch under steady urging but could not hold off the winner late. VANNA G tracked three deep in the second flight, came three wide into the stretch, altered course to the inside in the final furlong and finished willingly but unable to threaten the top pair. LITTLE BIT O STORM hopped at the break and spotted the rest of the field a head start, raced inside of the tracking group, responded when set down for the stretch run but was not good enough. TALK broke well and was steered to the front, opened up a two length lead with four of the rest stacked up behind, started to weaken after passing the three furlong pole, was kept to task but was spent by mid-stretch. CRITICAL VELOCITY tracked two deep in the second flight and faltered before the stretch.
