Chart notes
RIVER RIDGE settled into stalking position just off the top pair in the opening quarter, moved up to challenge three wide late on the turn, brushed with ROCK CITY ROCKET at the top of the lane, took command, shifted in and finished going away. GLUCKSTADT settled in the last flight off the inside tracking the early pace, roused for more around the turn, sustained a three wide bid through the lane and finished clearly second best. FORTHELONGHAUL set a pressured pace through the backstretch, continued under pressure into the turn, got headed near the quarter pole, ran on in the upper stretch then weakened and just lasted for show. NEOKING settled of the pace although never too far from the front runners, coaxed four wide around the turn, failed to advance into striking distance but ran on and got nipped for show. ROCK CITY ROCKET pressed the early pace, vied around the turn, had a slight edge then brushed with the eventual winner at the head of the lane and gave way.
