Chart notes
WHAT ABOUT Q tracked the top trio just out of striking range, roused for more three wide past upper stretch, responded, reached equal terms for the lead a sixteenth out then drove clear. ESCAPE MAP was a step slow at the start, quickly advanced a took a slight edge leaving the backstretch, led the way by a narrow margin around the turn, came two wide into the upper stretch, fought back with head in front past the furlong marker then got overtaken late. NATIVE QUEEN briefly led the way then got headed late on the backstretch, remained forwardly placed inside around the turn, sustained bid to the furlong marker then gave way. TALL TALE chased along the inside, flattened around the turn and continued to tire in the drive. STEEL SPUN settled in opening stages, moved up into close range with three furlongs left to run then came up empty in the lane.
