Chart notes
CHOJO was away alertly then taken in hand and sat off the top pair in opening stages, moved up to challenge rivals late on the turn, held a slight edge over BEREA in the final furlong, fought off stubborn foe to the end and prevailed under a driving finish. BEREA held a slight edge up the backstretch, vied for the lead around the turn, fought back when headed by CHOJO near the furlong marker, dug in gamely from the inside but got denied. LEUCADIA was allowed to settle in early stages, hustled along three wide at the head of the lane, sustained a steady bid and secured a share. GOLDYS LOCK raced off the early pace, hustled up late on the turn, cut the corner turning for home, ran on but needed more for late impact. IRISH TAP chased the early pace, swung five wide into the lane and failed to kick on. LICHITA bumped with rival at the start, pressed the early pace, vied for the lead around the turn and tired in the drive. NORTHERN GEM stumbled badly at the start, briefly lost iron, lost ground on the field and never got going.
