MCTHANKS tracked the early pace from the second flight, was well placed into the backstretch then was caught in tight approaching the second turn, navigated traffic along that bend and loomed three to four wide into upper stretch, battled to mid-stretch then took command and drew clear in the final stages. STORM LEADER hustled for the early lead, set a prompted pace up the backstretch, dueled into the far turn then dug in gamely into upper stretch, was outkicked in the late stages by MCTHANKS and held at the finish for second. VALENTINO WHO allowed to settle while never far back, roused five to six wide along the second turn, chased into the stretch, finished well and got up in time for third. QUEEN HADASSAH sent to vie for the early lead, pressed the pace between runners up the backstretch, dueled into the far turn then battled into upper stretch, was outkicked in the drive and just missed for third. LUCK IN MY EYES unhurried early on, saved ground while trailing on the backstretch, swung two wide into upper stretch and made a mild late rally. HENRY ON THE RUN allowed to settle, maintained a wide trip up the backstretch, advanced five wide along the turn, swung six wide into upper stretch and lacked a final response. CLUE in tight early on while a bit rank, tracked the pace while widest up the backstretch, chased four wide along the second turn, could not find more into the stretch and weakened late. DIABOLICAL FIRE fractious prior to the start, chased the early pace while three to four wide, kept close attendance up the backstretch, lost position into the second turn, was eased through the stretch and walked off.
