Chart notes

CHECKSFORCHARLIE stalked the early pace three deep, kept close attendance along the turn, closed determinedly into the stretch, wore down SAPELLO SICARIO in deep stretch and edged away in the final strides. SAPELLO SICARIO showed good early speed, set the pace along the turn, held a clear lead into upper stretch, was gamely bested in deep stretch and was clear of the rest for second. WF FRANKLY MY DEAR chased the early pace four wide, shifted in into upper stretch, could not reel in the top pair late and held at the finish for third. EVERYBODY KNOWS tracked the early pace from the inside, angled four to five wide into upper stretch, could not find the needed late response and was outfinished for third. HOMER WELLS chased the pace from the inside, was outkicked into upper stretch then gave way in the lane. JAMIE CAN'T DANCE close up to the early pace, lost position while two to three wide along the turn and lacked a late response. BITTEN threw his head at the start then took up soon after the break, checked while in a bit tight into the turn, trailed to upper stretch and did not offer a late response. COMFORT DAY squeezed at the start, settled off of the early pace, raced four to five wide along the turn and did not mount a late rally. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate final time available. Internal fractions have been removed and are unavailable.
