Chart notes
STORM BAYOU vied for the early lead, was well handled while setting a contested pace up the backstretch, shook free into the second turn then held a clear lead into the stretch, kept to task through the lane and held sway in the late stages. GOLDEN MERGER allowed to settle early, was roused five to six wide into upper stretch, finished well in the late stages and was a clear second best. DECK HUMOR tracked the pace between runners, bid three wide into the stretch, was outkicked in the lane and held for third at the finish. MR. BIG RIG tracked the pace while widest up the backstretch, chased five wide along the second turn, was caught a bit in tight into upper stretch, could not muster a final response and was outfinished for third. READS PET ZENON allowed to settle while never far back, got caught in traffic while two to three wide and between runners along the second turn, found room into upper stretch then lacked a final rally. RYDERS UP lunged start, settled, swung five wide upper, mild late rally. RIG RIDER tracked the pace four wide, chased into upper stretch, was outkicked in the drive and weakened in the late stages. CERVEZA contested pace between runners, lost position into the second turn and faded in the stretch. MUSICS MY VICE chased from between runners into the first turn, took back and tracked along the rail up the backstretch, could not find a response into the second turn and gave way. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate final time available. Internal fractions have been removed and are unavailable.
