DIRECT CHANNEL laid well back in the four to three path around the first turn before moving back to the four path into the backstretch, got hung five deep around the far turn, floated to the six path entering the lane, yet rallied outside of foes to bid at the sixteenth pole and edged past. SWIRLING EIGHTS stalked two to three wide, ranged up approaching the far turn, bid and vied around that bend, drove clear leaving the three sixteenths pole, but was collared by an outer bidder a sixteenth from home and got bested. GEARING UP stalked along the inside, then from the pocket around the far turn, but only managed to chase through the lane, vied for show with an outer foe into the final sixteenth and prevailed. LEBOWSKI laid off of the pace two wide and between horses, crept closer passing the half mile pole, tracked among foes around the far turn, tipped outside of the leading trio in upper stretch, pursued to vie for show with an inner rival in the final furlong but got outfinished. MARY'S LAD (IRE) pursued from midpack in the two path and chased willingly. SULLY tracked three to four wide, chased while floating to the five path and between horses into the lane, then got outkicked and yielded. THE FED'S PLOT broke a beat slow, raced near the rear in the two to three path and between horses, then moved up. RULE SEVENTY SIX raced at the rear along the inside, then two wide around the far turn and improved position. FOLIGNO vied for the lead with an outer rival around the first turn, backed off with nine sixteenths to go, reengaged outside of the leader and along with an outer foe at the half mile pole, vied between horses around the far turn but weakened in upper stretch. WAR LEGEND vied two wide, led and crossed over passing the nine sixteenths pole, but met a pair of outer challenges into the far turn, vied with those rivals turning for home but weakened entering upper stretch. DR. NIKO broke awkwardly and leaned outwardly at the start, raced off of the pace three to four wide, then between horses around the far turn and failed to factor. SOCK IT TO ME saved ground off of the pace, backed out of tight rail quarters at the three furlong pole and tired.
