COMEDY TOWN showed the way in the two path, met an outer presser's bid turning for home, repelled that foe and shook clear in upper stretch, then held sway through the final furlong. PAYNE tracked outside of rivals and from the four path, chased the top pair into the lane, lacked progress through upper stretch, but ran on in the final furlong and reached place late while closing in on the leader belatedly. LUNAR MODULE leaned outwardly leaving the gate, pressed outside of the eventual winner and from the three path into the turn, ranged up to bid turning for home, vied into the lane, but was turned away in upper stretch, pursued into the final furlong, yielded between rivals late and narrowly lasted for show. PINFIRE tracked near the inside, chased evenly through the lane and missed show.
