SPARKLET caught a flyer, clearing from the outer post to be loose up front on the rail down the backside, rolled along with no opposition around the turn and had more to give when set down in upper stretch to pull away for a convincing front end victory. ROAD TO VERSAILLES was nestled on the rail in the second flight content watching the pacesetter down the backside. edged up around the turn seeming to be measuring the frontrunner, loomed the only threat three wide at the top of the lane, switched leads late but could not gain on the winner in deep stretch. PET SOUNDS had a couple of runners beaten while having a stalking role outside along the backside, mounted a rally four wide circling at the quarter pole, angled out in the six path for clear run and had a good sustained rally down the stretch to just win the minor battle for the show award at the finish line. RESTORING ORDER was reluctant loading at the start, settled outside in mid-pack in the early going, began to pick up horses three wide with five sixteenths remaining, shifted out in the five path with good late energy and just missed at the wire losing the nod for third money. SECRET STORM travelled outside in the third flight in the backstretch, offered a brief turn of foot going around foes on the turn, ran on willingly fighting for a small share down the stretch, drifted in while encouraged right handed seizing third money at the furlong pole but faded on the rail in the final sixteenth of a mile. WOLF BEACH settled in midfield along the backside, ran evenly while on the fence around the turn and while between runners made little change finishing up one paced down the lane. MAGIC SLIPS settled on the inside in the third pairing along the backside, kept pace inside through the turn, dueled for the show award inside a rival in the two path in upper stretch, had to be checked losing its path at the furlong marker, lost all momentum and could not recover in deep stretch. BINGO'S GRIND co-trailed on the outside, made no impact outside foes running four wide through the turn, angled to the seven path for the drive to the wire but lacked a rally in the stretch running. MODDASSAH had an inside position while trailing with another rival at the half, showed little while in the three path around the oval, shifted five wide in upper stretch but had little to offer running to the wire. THEFRONTIERSMAN had an outside tracking spot keeping a close eye on the leader in the early going, was hard ridden between horses in the two path at the three furlong marker, backed away through the field around the turn and came up empty on the rail folding in the stretch. I'MANISLANDBOY was tucked in on the fence ahead of a few rivals in the beginning, was urged inside but was going the wrong way throughout the turn, shifted three wide entering the stretch but could not find another get to be involved down to the wire.
