Chart notes
GOLD MEMBER forwardly placed away from the start, stalked the pace three wide heading to the turn, bid without being asked at the quarter marker and led into upper stretch, drifted out a path into the lane then corrected and kept to task at the furlong marker, drew away into the final sixteenth and was hand urged to the finish. LORD CREW crowded at the start and off slowly, recovered and tracked from the second flight heading to the turn, advanced four wide at the quarter pole, chased five wide into the stretch, could not match strides with GOLD MEMBER into the final sixteenth and bested the rest. IT'S A RAINY DAY sent to assume early command, set a pressured pace into the turn and dueled from the inside nearing the quarter marker, yielded in the stretch and held safely at the finish for third. BARREL THIEF rated off of the early pace, saved ground into the turn, swung three wide for the stretch drive, ran evenly to the furlong marker and lacked the needed late response. TEXAN FARMER contested the pace to the turn, dueled two wide and between foes nearing the quarter marker, could not keep pace into the stretch and faded in the final furlong. CAT COUNTY settled off of the contested early pace, trailed into the turn and was not a late factor. WICKED PRINCE prominent away from the start, tracked the pace from the second flight heading to the turn, chased two wide to the quarter pole, could not find a response into upper stretch and tired in the drive. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time available.
