Chart notes
RUBY THE DESTROYER tracked the early pace from the inside and while well placed, angled four wide for the stretch drive and responded in the lane, took command into the final sixteenth and held well in deep stretch to prevail. DA CANDY CANE broke alertly, ceded the early lead and stalked the pace heading to the turn, chased the pace two wide and between runners nearing the quarter marker, shifted three wide into upper stretch then re-rallied into the final furlong, was gamely bested in the late stages and held at the finish for second. OKIE LOVE allowed to settle while saving ground early on, angled three wide nearing mid-stretch then was stuck in traffic nearing the sixteenth-marker, found room into deep stretch, closed willingly and missed for second, while holding for third. MS. HILLARY took back in the early stages, raced two to three wide to the quarter marker, swung five to six wide into upper stretch, made a sustained bid to the final sixteenth, was gaining late but could not reel in the leaders at the finish. ALL AFLUTTER tracked the early pace from the outside, chased three to four wide into the turn then ran in pursuit into upper stretch, vied for the lead inside of the final furlong, could not muster the needed late response and was outfinished in deep stretch. EURO KOUNTRY GIRL showed early speed, assumed command and set the pace to the turn, showed the way to the quarter marker then led into upper stretch, dug in at the furlong grounds, was overtaken into the final sixteenth and yielded in deep stretch. PAULA M close up to the early pace while in tight, steadied nearing the half-mile marker then tracked the pace from the inside into the turn, chased from the rail nearing the quarter marker while remaining a bit in tight, ran in pursuit to the furlong marker then weakened in the final sixteenth. OH NIKI allowed to settle while never far back, tracked three wide into the turn, trailed into upper stretch and did not offer a late response. OUR BET unhurried early on, trailed into the turn then did not factor in the stretch drive. MIZ RITHYM stumbled at the start, raced four wide to the quarter marker, swung five wide into upper stretch and gave way in the final stages. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time available.
