Chart notes
FLINT ROCK close from the start following an alert break, pressed the issue three wide into and through the turn, took over entering the stretch and edged clear. LOUISIANA BARGAIN within striking distance while four wide into and through the turn, roused for the drive, mild interest the final furlong to be clearly second best, no real threat to the winner. REXINATOR moved up steadily along the inside to contest the issue into the turn, continued to vie early in the bend, could not keep up with the winner into the lane nor contain the runner up the final furlong, finished up clear of the others. ZONG'S FAVOR in the second flight while off the inside, three wide through the turn, went evenly through the stretch. QUIKONTHETRIGGER broke well, narrowly showed the way up the backstretch in the two path, vied between horses far turn, gave way in the drive. TRIPS TO WIN jostled and shuffled back exiting the chute, moved outside, four to five wide turn, failed to muster a rally in the stretch. STAR ROUGE back behind the pace, toward the inside, steadily retreated.
