Chart notes
CONTRABAND EARLY off a step slow, raced back off the early pace and the inside, moved out to be three then tipped four wide second turn, vied four wide into the lane, long drive to the wire, proved narrowly best in game fashion. SAUCER EYES settled off the pace along the inside, continued to save ground into and through the final turn, waited briefly behind the tiring leader late in that bend, shot through, challenged inside the two leaders in midstretch, outkicked late to miss. BIG TAP BABY in the second flight while three wide, advanced and challenged three wide then vied between horses and inside the winner into the lane, extended drive to the wire while drifting out a bit, stubbornly. GRAND ENCORE narrowly set the pace while along the inside, weakened in the drive. GIBSON pressed the pace from the two path, challenged and vied between horses late in the final turn, also gave way in the drive.
