Chart notes
FRECKLES FOREVER ceded the lead and settled three wide, launched a bid to go after NOW WE GO on the lead approaching the quarter pole, got the best of that one with a furlong to go then was all-out to hold off an outside challenger at the finish. QUEEN WILHELMINA outpaced early, tracked mid-pack three deep down the backstretch, started a sustained bid from the seven-sixteenths marker, went three to four wide around the turn and into the stretch and continued to run on well under steady handling and urging, was gaining on the winner but ran out of time. TIZABELLARINA off a step slow, raced mid-pack and stayed on with a steady finish to gain the third prize. NOW WE GO hustled from the gate, pulled away with a rival heading into the turn dueled outside, gained the advantage passing the quarter pole, but was immediately taken on by FRECKLES FOREVER at the top of the stretch, dug in gamely but was outfinished, weakened late and missed out on a minor award. FLAT OUT READY was the trailer to the turn then passed tiring rivals in the lane. WILD ROVER LADY (IRE) broke well and was sent forward to join NOW WE GO on the lead, dueled inside through the turn, then gave way near the quarter pole and tired in the stretch. CANOGA missed the break and spotted the field a head start, rushed up inside, steadily advanced to be up near the leaders approaching the quarter pole then could not sustain the run into the stretch and tired. This race was originally hand timed and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate final time.
