Chart notes
MAVERAMA tracked the pace around the turn turn and up the backstretch, headed in pursuit three wide late on the final turn, roused forward near the lead, drifted in at the head of the lane, ran on then drifted out wide, came under right handed encouragement, stayed outside and finished clear. QUARTERLY REPORT was unhurried and settled in the back, saved ground and moved up closer late on the far turn, cut the corner and given cue turning for home, roused forward then shifted three wide and finished second best. MR. SWEETS stalked the early pacesetter, engaged rival for the lead mid-way around the far turn, got in tight briefly when the winner drifted in at the head of the lane, ran on then weakened late. SPEECHLESS led the way around the first turn and up the backstretch, vied inside around the final turn, kept on past the furlong marker then gave way. ABLE SEAMAN raced off the pace, was ridden two to three wide into the lane and had no response. JUAN COLORADO raced in range going by the half mile marker then retreated around the final turn. STEWARDS POSTED INQUIRY, TRAINER OF MR SWEETS CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST MAVERAMA FOR INTERFERENCE AT THE HEAD OF THE LANE, AFTER REVIEW ORDER STOOD AS POSTED
