Chart notes
PRECEDENT LUKE rated off the early pace in mid-pack, rallied four wide on the turn, took command midway down the lane and pulled away to the wire. ROPER stalked the pace from the inside to the turn, lost position on the bend, cut the corner turning for home and closed well along the fence to gain the place. JACOB YEN unhurried in the early going to be near the back of the field, rallied six wide at the top of the lane and was rallying well to just miss the place. RAIL TOWN tracked the leaders through the turn, shifted out wide down the lane and finished with a mild bid when clear. BATTLEOF TRAFALGAR reserved off the pace to race near the back and showed some mild late interest coming home. SIR LUCAS set a pressured pace to the head of the stretch from the inside and weakened in the lane. WAITINGATTHEBAR showed speed from four wide early to be the leader, dueled through the turn and gave way in the stretch. BIG BAD BERT dropped back in the first quarter to be the trailer and was never a factor.
