Chart notes
DIAMOND DEE stalked the pace to midway on the turn, rallied four wide at the quarter pole to engage the pacesetter in mid-stretch and cleared late in adrive. CLAY'S OPAL INDY unhurried in the early going to be near the rear of the field, circled six wide to mount a good belated stretch rally gaining the place. YODERANDO dueled on the lead from the inside through the turn, shook off the presser turning for home, responded willingly when challenged in the lane and weakened in the final sixteenth in a good effort. TOPANTICIPATION (GB) pressed the pace throughout, took a brief lead near the quarter pole and kept-on through the stretch while tiring. THE GREAT HAYNES raced mid-pack and lacked a closing response when called upon. HAUGHTY KITTY tracked the leaders from between rivals and went evenly. IT'S SAUL RIGHT was not a threat. LIBBY'S GAMBIT showed some early foot to briefly contend and faded coming home.
