FINDING WAYS away alertly and dueled for the early lead from the outside of STANFORD BAY entering the first turn, took the lead from along the rail in the run down the backstretch, battled from the inside of his pace rival through the final turn, and was all out to fend off that determined rival in deep stretch to prevail. STANFORD BAY broke sharply and vied for the lead from along the rail entering the first turn, before easing off the pacesetter and angling into the two path from a tracking position entering the backside, re-engaged the leader in the run to the final turn, battled through the turn and into the lane from the outside of that foe, and closed determinedly three wide in the drive to just miss. DUPLICATION settled at the back of the pack while racing three wide entering the backstretch, launched his bid from the back at the pack while saving ground at the rail entering the final turn, and finished willingly from along the inside in the drive to get up for a share. BAK TO LIBERTY settled off the leaders while racing just out from the rail entering the backside, rallied smartly two out from the rail entering the final turn, and finished three wide in the drive while unable to make a serious late impact. PAY MY WAY settled off the early pace while racing three wide entering the backstretch, rallied one out from the rail entering the final turn, but needed more late while finishing four wide in the drive. OVERLY FAST stalked the leaders one out from the rail entering the backstretch, continued with a three wide rally entering the final turn, but faded over the final furlong.
