Chart notes
PINK ROSE set the pace getting to the inside on the first turn, well handled and drew away in the lane to prove much the best under a drive. SHIGEKO stalked the winner three to two wide, came three wide into the lane while being ridden along and ran on willingly but was no match to the winner while clearly second best. REIGERT GIRLS tracked the pace from the inside, then made a bid two wide trying to split the front runners nearing the quarter pole, fought on to the furlong marker and flattened out while besting the rest. EXTREMELY GRUNTLED was off a step slow and then rank early and hard to handle, checked by the seven eighths marker on the first turn, then moved to the outside entering the backstretch to chase the pace, four wide on the far turn and tired. NEVER SO LUCKY (IRE) was settled three wide and failed to menace. BRACCESCA tracked the pace in between rivals and fell back on the backstretch and then stopped on the turn and was eased in the lane, walked off. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate time.
