Chart notes
SPINNING HEART set a pressured pace on the inside and then dueled for the command on the turn and dug in gamely in the stretch to hold on to prove best under a drive. SUNSHINE JOHNNY pressed the winner from the outside and made a two wide bid to duel for command on the far turn and was put to a long drive but could not get by the winner while being outfinished. MAX BARLEY was allowed to settle on the inside and lacked a response.
