Chart notes

MOZART J hustled for the early lead, assumed command then sprinted to a long lead into the turn, held sway into upper stretch, was getting weary in the late stages and lasted for the win. NOGAL CANYON bumped at the start, made a sustained rally four to five wide to the stretch, finished well in the late stages and missed for the win, while clear of the rest for second. MY ADDICTION off slow to begin, was allowed to settle in the early stages, advanced along the turn then was blocked nearing the top of the lane, angled four to five wide into upper stretch and rallied to be a clear third. JAKE ON DAKAN chased the early pace from the inside, ran in pursuit two wide into the stretch and did not offer a late rally. CELEBRITY GIRL tracked the pace three to four wide, chased into upper stretch and lacked a late kick. BORNINASMALLTOWN tracked the early pace from the inside, checked when put in tight quarters entering the turn, lost position into the bend and could not muster the needed late response. ARROGANT PUNCH showed speed away from the start, lost the early lead to MOZART J and chased that rival into the turn, gave way in the stretch drive then was transported off of the track via the equine ambulance. This race had a timing discrepancy or malfunction and was re-timed using video technology to arrive at the most accurate final time available. Internal fractions have been removed and are unavailable.
