Chart notes
RUNANDSCORE three then two wide in pursuit, came under coaxing at the three-eighths, tipped out four to five wide into upper stretch, rallied to issue a challenge inside the final furlong, seized command just inside the sixteenth marker, had the rider lose the handle on the crop in the right hand just after switching from the left hand inside the final forty yards to the finish and was under a vigorous hand ride to the wire. UNCLE GEORGE dueled inside of PRINCE OF TRUTH from the get go coming under urging at the three-eighths, spun just off the inside into upper stretch, shook off his main pace rival and was confronted a furlong out by the aforementioned foe, dug in clinging to command until displaced just inside the sixteenth pole, kept on clear for the place honors. BALL DON'T LIE shied in when away awkwardly and gingerly to avoid the rider dismounted from ATTORNEY WADE directly to his outside and conceded five to six lengths to the front before settling into stride, chased just off the inside and then along the inside detached at the tail of the field, came under encouragement near the five-sixteenths, angled five wide into upper stretch, weaved in and out of traffic as rivals drifted weakening in front and showed good courage to get up for the show honors. PRINCE OF TRUTH dueled from the two path with UNCLE GEORGE to his inside, came under coaxing near the quarter pole, spun two to three wide into upper stretch, got shaken off nearing the eighth pole and weakened in the late stages. DUCKY MEDWICK chased along the inside under a ride from three furlongs out, cornered two to three wide into upper stretch, weakened in the late going. SWIFT MAGIC chased two to three wide under urging from the seven-sixteenths, angled six wide into upper stretch, tired. ATTORNEY WADE stumbled badly at the start pecking the ground and tossed the rider in the process, got apprehended after the finish and was walked off under his own power. There was a Stewards' Inquiry into the start focused on ATTORNEY WADE. After review, no action was taken.
