Chart notes
MICKSWAGGER tugged slightly around the first turn then let out a notch and settled into closer contention, raced two wide between foes late on the backstretch, made a move past the quarter pole, engaged SUSHI MAN for the lead leaving the far turn, grabbed a slight edge at the head of the lane, continued to dig in holding a slim margin over stubborn SUSHI MAN, battled on gamely and held firm. SUSHI MAN set a pressured pace around the first turn and through the backstretch, held a slight edge going by the quarter pole, got headed by MICKSWAGGER entering the head of the lane, fought back stubbornly to the end but could not get by game winner. COVERT QUALITY tracked in range through the early going, chased along the rail around the far turn, fought back in the upper stretch then flattened off the top pair. MR. BUTCH was allowed to settle while not far from the frontend, saved ground then angled out mid-way around the far turn, hustled along into the upper stretch and lacked the needed response for impact. MAJOR MACK raced in range, loomed a threat three wide mid-way around the final turn then tired in the drive. WAGON POWER pressed the pace around the first turn and up the backstretch, continued in close contention around the final turn then came up empty in the lane.
