MADONNA OF LORETO grabbed the early lead from inside, met the bid from SUNGLOW (IRE) at the quarter pole, cleared once again entering the lane, showed the way under right handed urging into deep stretch and was all out to hold on. VINALIA (GB) tracked three deep into the turn, crept closer around the bend, tipped out at the top of the lane, came with a late bid but got denied. SHE'Z THE LAW broke out and brushed AUNTIE, traveled in mid-pack in the early going, navigated the turn two then three wide, tipped out at the top of the stretch, closed well from outside and finished a game third. SUNGLOW (IRE) broke well, stalked three deep leaving the backstretch, put in a mild bid three deep with a quarter mile remaining but got turned back quickly and flattened in the final sixteenth. AUNTIE got bumped and crowded leaving the gate, traveled inside a pair of rivals at the back into the turn, cut the corner into the lane, moved off the fence with a furlong remaining, improved position but needed to find more. ARROGARSI raced in range between foes leaving the backstretch, angled over to the rail early on the bend, then weakened down the lane. GLADLY laid off the pace early on, traveled two then three wide around the bend and improved position. STORM LADY (GB) stalked inside a pair of rivals into the turn, took aim two wide past the five-sixteenths pole but weakened down the lane. ICONS ONLY was closest in pursuit up the backstretch, weakened between rivals in the two path on the turn and faded in the drive. HARMONIQUE raced outside a pair of rivals in the second flight early, remained three wide to the stretch and could not make an impact. SNOOZEULOSE bumped with AUNTIE leaving the gate and dropped back, raced between rivals or in the two path on the turn and was never a factor.
