Chart notes
CASH CALL stalked pacesetter outside BORDER CONTROL, loomed three wide leaving the turn, drew alongside HAPPY SUE at the top of the lane, put that rival away under hand urging and coasted in approaching the wire. HAPPY SUE raced up close from outside, challenged exiting the backstretch, took over midway around the bend, disposed of KNIGHTWITHLOUIS at the quarter pole, confronted by CASH CALL coming into the stretch, offered little resistance in upper stretch and stayed on for a clear second. BORDER CONTROL stalked two wide into the turn, tipped three wide past the quarter pole, could not rally down the lane but managed to hold third. SEA RUNNER chased from off the pace, took the turn four wide and lacked the needed response. KNIGHTWITHLOUIS took control early from inside, got pressured entering the turn, lost command at the five-sixteenths pole, yielded outside the quarter pole and weakened in the drive. HOT GIRL WALK broke a step slow, chased off the rail , climbed a bit at the seven-sixteenths pole in the three path, tipped five wide into the clear and tired. BIG SOIREE trailed off the rail then moved inside for the turn, saved ground to the stretch and could not make an impact.
