Chart notes
FIRENZE FLAVOR unhurried in the opening stages, went three deep into the clubhouse turn then moved into the two path, traveled two then three wide on the second bend, tipped out into the lane, closed well from outside and got up three deep at the wire. MISO PHANSY allowed to settle in the early going, went two wide then along the rail on the first turn, stayed inside to the second bend, eased over to the two path while creeping closer but got boxed in at the quarter pole, tipped out at the top of the lane, rallied between rivals and just missed. JUNGLE PEACE (IRE) broke out and brushed, controlled the pace from the two path then along the rail, met the bid from ATIA on the far turn, turned that rival away exiting the bend, showed the way clear into deep stretch and got nailed by the top pair at the wire. AS CATCH CAN brushed by JUNGLE PEACE (IRE) leaving the gate, stalked that rival from the rail, cut the corner into the lane, moved out a bit in the drive and finished willingly but could not find the needed late kick. SCHILFLIED stalked three then two wide outside a rival, tipped back to the three path on the far turn, chased within striking distance through the lane but finished evenly late. ATIA was closest in pursuit stalking the pacesetter from off the rail, drew alongside JUNGLE PEACH (IRE) on the far turn, got turned away approaching the stretch and weakened down the lane.
