Chart notes
SEHR SCHOEN brushed lightly with a rival at the start, quickly made the lead, set the pace inside, led them into the stretch with a clear advantage, dug in under continued urging and just held. ONTARIO HOLIDAY stalked just off the eventual winner and another foe racing three to four wide into the turn, was asked to pick it up about the five-sixteenths, had aim and gained steadily on the leader but was not enough. BACK RIVER tracked mid-division inside saving ground on the turn, was given some encouragement past the three-eighths, was guided out four to five wide at the top of the stretch, could not match strides with the top pair but was best of the rest. COHERENCE broke out just a bit and was very slightly taken up soon after, settled off the pace, went three to four wide outside foes on the turn, ran on mildly late. WHISKEY ROW saved ground on the turn, came out for room in upper stretch, needed more to threaten. PANYARD TAP chased near mid-pack two to three wide and between foes on the turn, moved out in the stretch, ran on. FOREST WOODSMAN was up close pursuing the leader and winner two to three wide, weakened. PERFECT PLAY was in just a bit tight at the start, settled last but one racing off the inside, came out wider still for the drive, was never a threat.
