Chart notes
MISS DEMANDING patiently hounded the pace outside along the backstretch, moved in around the turn, pounced just outside taking over control at the quarter marker and finished up well, pulling away in the late stages for the win. FLASHY MOTOR was away sharply dictated the terms on the fence, continued up top entering the turn, was collared outside by the winner with a quarter mile from home, offered little resistance to the winner in upper stretch but did fight on gamely inside to save for the runners up share at the wire. PRINCESS JADE tracked the lead pair while nestled inside another runner, ranged up with a quarter to go, shifted out three wide in the thick of things at the top of the lane, could not get to the winner late, appeared to be closing in for third money but lost the nod when the rider stood up a few jumps before the finish line.. LADY IONA had a tracking role outside another foe, took closer order two furlongs from the finish line, battled for a placing four wide at the top of the lane but finished up evenly to just hold on to be a fringe player in the end. CLEARWATER BEACH had a stalking role close to the back of the pack, began to extend its stride outside with five sixteenths from home, shifted to the two path turning for home and with a late surge inside foes just missed getting up for a minor share. TEXAS HOLIDAY settled in midfield in the early going, came under a ride but was travelling in the wrong direction through the turn and could not get involved driving on the fence in the stretch running. CA BAM broke a step slow to trail along the backside, could not keep up to the field running around the bend and cantered down the lane crossing the finish line.
