Chart notes

EVERY LOVING WISH sent to be prominent early on, assumed command into the first turn then set a pressured pace from the inside up the backstretch, shook free into the second turn, drove clear into upper stretch and drew away while ridden out in the final furlong. SATIS prominent early, pressed the pace two wide and between runners up the backstretch, chased EVERY LOVING WISH into the second turn, was no match for the winner into the stretch drive but kept on well late and was second best. CHAR allowed to settle early, raced to the inside of rivals into the backstretch then advanced nearing the half-mile marker, saved ground to the second turn, was caught in tight approaching the quarter pole, swung four to five wide into upper stretch and chased to the furlong grounds, was no match late for the top pair and held well for third. LADY EDNA showed speed away from the start, vied for the lead three wide into the first turn, stalked the pace up the backstretch, chased three to four wide into the second turn, could not find the needed response into upper stretch, weakened in the drive and was outfinished for third. MRS CHOFIS tracked the early pace four wide, settled into the backstretch, could not keep pace nearing the half-mile marker and trailed the rest of the way.
