Chart notes
ARMY HERO was off awkwardly then bobbled slightly at the start, advanced between horses with five furlongs to go, tracked behind the top pair and from teh tow path into the turn, shifted to the four path to pursue outside of them turning for home, took aim from the six path entering the lane, ranged up to collar the new leader at the furlong grounds, battled with that one through the final furlong and prevailed. TOUGH CUSTOMER leaned outwardly and brushed a foe at the start, stalked outside of the leader and from the three path, applied pressure before vying in the four path into the lane, forged an advantage in upper stretch, dug in to resist ARMY HERO's outer challenge at the furlong grounds, battled gamely with that one thereafter but got bested. HARD SPUN TO RUN set the pace in the two path, got headed by an outer rival in upper stretch, proved no match for that one and a wider challenger entering the final furlong and remained well clear of the rest. HALFWAY TEMPTED leaned inwardly leaving the gate, trailed in the two to four path and improved. DAN D'ORO was brushed by an inner rival at the start, tracked from the five to four path before chasing from the three path around the turn, and faded. MI COMPADRE was floated inwardly by an outer rival at the start, chased along the inside and tired. LUCKY SEVEN raced off of the pace in the three to two path and made little impact.
