MY SWEETHEART balked while antsy to load, vied two wide and between rivals before sparring with just her outer counterpart around the turn, responded when roused and shook clear in upper stretch, then held sway from a pursuing foe late. CLOWNING AROUND prompted along the inside, dropped back entering the turn to stalk an outer pair from the path, split foes in the three path in upper stretch to claim place, then ran on in pursuit of the clear leader whlie hanging on her left lead. PURELY ZEN was reluctant to load, stalked from the four path, bid for place along with an inner foe at the three sixteenths pole, got outkicked by that one and safely managed show. NANINA (GER) bumped with an outer rival and was off slow, laid well back along the inside, then rallied willingly to narrowly reach fourth at the wire. WAKUDA saved ground while held up behind rivals turning for home, advanced inside of those foes entering the lane, shifted out to the five path in midstretch before gaining fourth, but leveled off and got caught by an inner foe at the wire. RED BERETTA bumped with an inner rival while off slow, trailed in the two path, gained along the inside into the final furlong then rallied belatedly between horses late. FLAMING MAMA raced off of the pace in the two path, swung out to the six to seven path in upper stretch and to factor. MOTHER OF PEARL vied three wide, then only outside of the eventual winner while remaining in the three path around the turn, proved no match for that one in upper stretch and weakened on her left lead. MUNCHKIN tracked in the three path and between horses, steadied in tight at the three furlong pole, chased while fanning out to the five to six path into the lane and faded between horses. CAROOM'S CROUPIER pursued from midpack along the inside, got held up behind a faltering foe into the turn, chased in the two to three path into the lane and weakened between horses.
