Chart notes
STABLE AGENT dueled early then went a length clear before the, turn, shook off a challenge from MIDDLEOFTHEFAIRWAY at the top of the stretch then pulled clear in the stretch to a handy win. JOSIE'S PRIORITY settled well off the pace on the rail through the early stages, spun three wide out of the turn and rallied down the stretch to gain second. MIDDLEOFTHEFAIRWAY was pushed to get forward position, pressed three wide through the turn, made a run at the eventual winner from the quarter pole but was rebuffed, faltered in mid-stretch and was unable to save second. RIP RULES had good speed and vied for the early lead from the rail, chased the top pair into the stretch and finished evenly under pressure. KNIGHT'S GOLD lacked speed, raced near the rear of the field and was unable to threaten late. WAY TOO TOUGH was getting outrun after a furlong and did not improve in the late stages. RED ON THE HEAD broke awkwardly and started well behind the rest, raced three to four wide through the turn, was pulled up in distress and fell near the eighth pole and was transported from the track in the equine ambulance. THERE WAS A STEWARDS INQUIRY INTO THE STRETCH RUN. AFTER A REVIEW, NO ACTION WAS TAKEN.
